To deepen pragmatic cooperation between China and Thailand in the food industry and promote the precise alignment of resources along the tropical fruit and vegetable supply chain, on June 2, Banya Puya, founder and chairman of the Thai ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association, led a delegation to Hainan Dachuan Food Co., Ltd. They conducted an on-site inspection of Hainan’s advanced processing procedures for tropical fruits and vegetables and engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as resource matching and supply-chain collaboration between the two countries’ food industries. Relevant leaders from the Hainan Provincial Food Production and Circulation Association accompanied the visit, while Ms. Dan Dan, director and general manager of Tianye Co., Ltd., together with senior executives of the group, extended a warm welcome.

Under the guidance of relevant company officials, the delegation conducted an on-site visit and learned that the Hainan Dachuan Phase II expansion project was commissioned in March 2025. With a total investment of nearly RMB 300 million, the project has introduced automated production lines and an integrated digital management platform, establishing an intelligent control system that spans from raw material input to finished‑product output, thereby driving significant breakthroughs in both production capacity and operational efficiency.

Drawing on twenty years of technological expertise, Hainan Dachuan has established a fully integrated, intelligent production line that spans raw material sorting, pulping, concentration, and aseptic filling. In the refined processing of tropical fruits and vegetables such as mangoes, pineapples, starfruits, and guavas, the company has built a comprehensive quality-control and freshness-preserving system. Its products are widely used across diverse sectors, including new‑style tea beverages, pre‑packaged drinks, restaurant chains, and export trade. Upon learning that the company has introduced advanced equipment like HPP high‑pressure pasteurization—capable of maximizing the preservation of fruit and vegetable flavor and nutrients while ensuring a stable year‑round supply—Thai representatives offered high praise. At the subsequent exchange meeting, Ms. Dan Dan, Director and General Manager of Tianye Co., Ltd., extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Thai ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association, and outlined Hainan Dachuan’s nearly two‑decade journey of growth in the tropical fruit and vegetable industry, its core business structure, and its vision for global expansion. Ms. Dan Dan stated that, with an open‑minded approach, Hainan Dachuan is eager to explore diverse avenues of cooperation with Thai enterprises in areas such as the procurement of tropical fruit raw materials, cross‑border processing, and joint channel development, particularly in the Southeast Asian market.

Banya Puya, President of the ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association of Thailand, stated that Thailand boasts abundant fruit resources, while Hainan’s Dachuan excels in advanced processing and supply-chain management. He emphasized the strong complementarity between the two sides and expressed their willingness to engage in in-depth exchanges on topics such as industrial integration, international trade, and resource sharing, working together to explore new avenues for cooperation.

Tang Jiechun, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Hainan Food Production and Distribution Association, stated that the association is committed to serving as a bridge to facilitate the precise alignment between Thailand’s high-quality tropical ingredients and Hainan’s Dachuan processing capacity, thereby helping the China–Thailand food industry achieve practical, mutually beneficial outcomes across technology, markets, and distribution channels.

During this fact-finding and exchange visit, Hainan Dachuan and the ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association of Thailand held preliminary discussions on areas such as the supply of tropical fruit and vegetable raw materials, technological collaboration, and joint channel development. The two parties established contact, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation. Moving forward, Hainan Dachuan will continue to leverage the policy advantages of the free trade port, strengthen its capabilities in intelligent manufacturing and customized services, and, with an open-minded approach, connect with ASEAN resources, thereby contributing more competitive fruit and vegetable flavor solutions to China’s food industry.
